[ What to expect ]
Safe Technique —
As part of our commitment to safe practice, we place on emphasis on technical proficiency. We don’t just show you the moves, we take time to explain how to execute steps and combos for maximum impact and protective technique.
Intentional Movement —
Alongside the choreography you’ll learn how to make every movement count. Burlesque is more than the Art of Tease, it connects intention and narrative through movement.
Social and Community Participation —
Meet new people and create new friendships in a welcoming and safe space.
INTERACTIVE LEARNING —
Burlesque is for every body, every size, and all abilities. Classes are structured for progression through choreography, however we are committed to supporting everyone during their learning journey. Choreography adjustments and supplementary content is available as needed.
Get Moving for Mind & Body —
It’s no secret that exercise is good for the mind and body, and burlesque is a great low impact form of movement. Connect with hidden parts of yourself and build confidence and body neutrality.

Costumes for courses are built around common Burlesque pieces, such as bump skirts, corsets, robes and pieces you may already own. If particular costume items are required (onesies for example) we endeavour to source affordable or low cost options.

For most courses, Class Props are available on loan for the duration of the course. If you are interested in purchasing your own props, our instructors will offer guidance and recommendations to purchase.
